Sunday - a day that I used to reserve to my own preservation ... returned back by popular demand.
I forgot how nice it is to not be on someone's watch or at the direction of a master plan. I was comfortable in my PJ's all day (even when I went to breakfast at Sara's). I lounged in great style as I watched "Walk the Line" and then watched "Milk".
I made dinner for one - a nice smashed sweet potato with beef tips in a pepper corn sauce. For dessert I had marshmallows - it was like Christmas in a glass woohoo for me.
I did have places to go and people to see, but they were simply put on hold and will be certain to see me when I want to be seen. I even played on my IPOD for a few hours adding more CD's ... this time I added some of my old time hairband music. Not that I hear Tesla or Whitesnake often on the radio, but I do remember fond memories of driving my mustang around "cruising" with the windows down and the music up. I even came across two bands I thought were the shit but of course they only released one CD (and it was a CD). Blue Murder was one (and I did find it on ITunes too) and the other was Craaft (misspelled for some marketing ploy I am sure).
I was not drawn to the television to see who won an award nor tune in to see Barbara Walters worbble out another interview (her 28th pre/post Oscar interview). Anyway, this weekend was light and comfortable.
