So for those three people who come to this blog may know, that I am a huge music buff. Well, strike that, I enjoy listening to music - not a trivial pursuit kind of person about music.

Here is what kills me, the recording industry has been complaining for years that sales of music is rapidly decreasing. This is very accurate. You can't find a CD if you wanted to ... Target has such a small section that I have more hid under the front seat of my starter-vehicle. Barnes and Noble has decided to decrease its space for CDs to make room for Blue Ray DVD's. Good for them, I am not even certain I know what that is ... There is no mega Tower in Chicago or a Virgin in New York. You can't buy something that you can't see - well unless you refer to the stimulus package we are to buy into - can't see it but we are sure hoping to believe it.

Anyway, my spending habits have declined from me purchasing 4-6 CD's a week to a month the same total. I can't find new music, hear new music in the store. I could spend hours searching the internet for it, but who has the time. VH-1 does not play music anymore nor does MTV. So I vent today because if artists did not email me I would be lost to know they have something new out. The local newspaper does not highlight much new music either. Local radio plays the same artist over and over so hearing a new artists is nearly impossible.

With this said, I am a grumpy camper about music.
