Okay, I love music, this is not a surprise. I am just baffled by this "... got talent..." competition in Britain where Susan Boyle became a household name over night.

I get that she can sing. Here is where I am saying for-all-good-things real ... let's think about this ... first they did not just haul her ass off the subway and be asked "hey ugly lady can you sing me a song?..." she actually applied to be on that stage. She went in front of an audition committee who heard that when she opened her mouth, she could sing.

Next, the judges saw her perform at least ONCE before we saw her on the stage "live" on television. Finally, the lady knew she was NOT all that HOT before she was on that stage. Now the world is making fun of her looks, saying she needs a make-over in order to sing. There have been ugly singers before her and there will be ugly singers to follow. I think she has had issues for most of her life - looks, no romance and a poor sense of fashion - so now that she is being made a laughing stock on you-tube, Larry King Live and every other media source, lets talk about the mental state of the lady who made it big overnight.

This only will reinforce to the kids, that ugly people have no talent, no reason to live ... or is that short people, anyway, let her sing and lets leave her looks alone. For the record, I think she looks like every other older English lady I have seen on television before?
