Well, just two more days and I am onto a favorite city ... Minneapolis.
My best friend and I are packing a suitcase and we are going to take the city by storm. Weather is predicted to be awesome, or as it said on weather.com "abundant sunshine". Not exactly sure how much is abundant, but it is going to be 82 degrees. What I love about Minneapolis is the diversity of cultures. The food, the imagery, the thriving downtown.
I was there not too long ago and just meandered down the streets. Walked the Mississippi River (found no dead bodies) and saw a nice art museum too.
This adventure is to unleash all the creative juices. My friend is wickedly talented - I mean he is an artisit, a designer, one of those people that makes a grown person jealous that he can do things with ease - anyway - we intend to both bring our cameras to capture the city, the architecture, and take in some of the great museums too.
Like tossing the hat in the air, aka Mary Tyler Moore, we will let the wind guide us down the path of unihibited fun. We depart Saturday morning and return Sunday night. I am sure I will have tales to tell or photos to share.
Finally - update on the house ... I tried numerous times to upload the picture of the mini kitchen off the music room alas it would not load... will keep trying. My bedroom will receive new carpet ... so last night Clyde and I slept on the floor. Well, until he realized he could go sleep in his real bed and he left me on the floor as if I was just waiting for someone to toss out a refrigerator box. And ... the weight loss is stuck on 26 pounds in under a month.
