I have remained a fan of Whitney Houston, past her crazy relationship with B'bbee Brown and her wacked on crack interview with Diane Sawyer. So, when the announcement of her new (perhaps comeback) CD was targeted for August I was very surprised. I love music ... always have. When I find an artist, I remain pretty faithful to them and buy their CD's each time one is released. I am always waiting in anticipation for the next new CD that will just put a new set of lyrics in my head.

I got word that if you would go to www.whitneyhouston.com you could download for free her new, and preview single, "I look to you", I jumped at the chance.

I think I anticipated the song to be uptempo. I also thought it would have a killer chorus or something ... this seems like it could have been left off any of her first two CD's. Not saying it is bad, just that it does not chart her into the mainstream nor put her in a dance club anytime soon.
