Once upon a time, I had a home that was the showcase of daisies. Ha, it was 99% daisies and 1% house. Well, the tide has turned and the daisies are gone and now the house has taken center stage.

It is shocking how much more house I have once the daisies, which were almost 5 foot tall, were knocked down and hauled to the trash (only to be picked up and replanted by the neighbor). The style is very simple now, potted plants at the door, and eve a sitting area right outside too. There are blue spruce trees on each side of the sidewalk and each side of the bench. A few stepping stones and even new mulch makes it look complete refreshed and pleasant.

So, I thought I would share this photo of what can happen when you do it yourself as in design yet hire someone to do the dirty work, because that just is not my style.
