I do think there should be something a person can do to give a citation to a driver who does something terribly wrong.
I think as our America goes from the land of the free to the land where we have fewer freedoms, one of the freedoms lost should be the one where if you are stupid and driving, you get a ticket or a fine or something. I was in a parking lost yesterday morning. There were no more than ten cars in the entire parking lot. I am backing out of the space and speeding through in a big black SUV comes this lady who saw me backing out but was hell-bent to keep driving rather than allowing me to finish pulling out.
Now mind you, I was 75% out of the space when she decides she was going to pass me. I slammed on my brakes and she nearly hit the car on the other side parked so she could continue through the parking lot to grab a parking space two in front of me. It was all I could but to just unbuckle myself and hit her with the loaf of bread I bought. I hate stupid people.
Another classification of person is the one that forgets the pedestrians have the right of way when in a shopping center and walking toward their vehicle. Unlike the common sense that one would have, this big boat of a car with a lady the size of a city's water tower nearly plastered me to the ground with the yellow stripes the other day at Barnes and Noble. Luckily my reflexes were quick enough as she seemed to proceed faster toward me. I kept thinking, lady this isn't Frogger and I really am not worth any points in your crusade to kill people.

Re: Got to get somewhere FAST
Can I get an AMEN!!! I am all about having to pass an IQ test and MMPI screening to get a drivers license!

AMEN!!!!! Parking lots are hell! I work in grocery wholesale and am in and out of 5-10 grocery parking lots per day. I always have to stop myself from screaming "the parking lines are lanes, people! Drive between them not across them!!" My favorite offender is the one who choses to use the empty space between two parked cars as a drive-through opportunity to get to the next row of parking spaces.
