Today is the final day for Michigan Football, in the Big House. It is Michigan taking on rival Ohio State University. The temperature will be low 50's and not too terrible of a day for being so late in the season. It will be a noon game and I am meeting one of my favorite Michigan people to go to the game with me.
It has been a busy week and I am glad for the weekend. I am a bit behind on blogging, I have an exclusive interview that needs to be completed, but time has not been on my side. As I approach the year end at work, this means employee reviews, closing the books and all those one time a year projects that seem to just take time. In life, I have those same type of time needs with the year end ... but this is more celebratory.
Today, we are also just two weeks away from Carbonanza! The theme of this year's open house is a country/western theme - country music and a good old garden patch on one side of the 33 foot counter and a butcher shop free-for-all on the other. Many surprises and traditions will be in store for this year's most anticipated celebration.
I have a concert Tuesday night, The Rockettes are in town. Following Wednesday Jim Brickman with Anne Cochran takes priority just days before the big Open House. Numbers in attendance could be pushing 200, yeee'ha! I am doubly excited because my dearest friend, Jennifer, will be flying in for the party. As my guests have always said, come early, stay late - so you can just find your car, because the parking is impossible, but well worth the walk!
Anyway, I am off to see Michigan and will return tonight with more Creative Mind of Carbo and the interview with Michele DeVinney! I still have Christmas shopping to finish, but have no clue what to buy. Sidebar, spoke with my niece yesterday and asked what she wanted {she is 11} and she said well, what do you want ... I said you don't buy for me, I buy for you. She said I bought you a Snoopy calendar last year, remember? Okay, yes I do. I want a serving spoon, now what do you want ... I don't know .... was her answer ... URGGH

Re: 4th Quarter and just so little time ...
LMAO, that sounds about right for a conversation with an 11-year-old girl :) Call me, I can give you some ideas.
