Sometimes the smallest things seem to amaze me.

Yesterday was an anniversary of sorts, one year to be exact. It was very low key nothing to scream from the rafters or anything but to our surprise, a friend who had been two states away picked up four amazingly tall and tasty cupcakes and drove them to us. Her six hour drive, a fear they would tumble over and hoped they would be something special to add to the day - well she was very successful in every goal.

I do not think I have ever had a cupcake that was so tasty. Sugar high from mile high icing was icing on the cake so to speak. It was the perfect end to a very nice day full of surprises.
