This weekend may go down in the books as the lamest one yet. But I am not complaining, it was much in need after a busy and fruitful March.

We both had colds in the house, and left for an occasional quick errand - groceries and pick up a Red Box movie, but 98% of the hours were spent resting, sleeping or eating. It seems like I did more of the later.

I know, I have worked hard to knock off the ten pounds. However, it was just too tempting with a pan of lasagna and Easter cookies that arrived by mail, I had no choice but to indulge. Saturday was French dip roast beef sandwiches for lunch and lasagna for dinner. Sunday,  I broasted chicken for lunch, and fish and chips for dinner. Watched part of the Michael Jackson, "This is It" flick - which was not intriguing enough to keep me attention. This is the reason I can't sit through a movie, my mind just wandered.

Precious was the next one we watched. I did make it through the entire show, with a few breaks in between. Very realistic I thought and the acting was right on target to make it feel like you were actually viewing a person's life.

Today, my cold has begun to retreat but still a bit chilled. It could be the rain and the cold weather we are blessed to have in Fort Wayne, but I do think the worst is behind me. On with the week. Oh yeah, I forgot, I did mat another 100 photos. One of them is being posted today as my picture of the day.
